One of my FAVORITE sushi restaurants in town (I STILL think Ma Li has the best sushi in town). Sushi Avenue is a great little restaurant in Decatur (there are two locations, both in Decatur). My favorite thing on the menu is the pork Gyoza (dumplings), which are pan fried. Also, the bento box is REALLY good and cheap! Comes with a soup and salad. With the Teriyaki lunch special, you get a California Roll, chicken or beef teriyaki, rice, and a little pice of chicken that looks like a chiken tender that sits in a red chili sauce....SO GOOD!!!!! My friend Miles LOVES to get the Avocado roll along with his teriyaki lunch special, and we usually share the Gyoza.
You can sit at the sushi bar, or at a table or booth.
Very cozy, quaint, good food, service is pretty fast (if they're not too busy, which they usually aren't during lunch), and the bento box is $7...can't beat that!
