Ken and I, along with some other librarian colleagues and friends went to a birthday celebration at this delicious restaurant. We all had a variety of entrees and apps. The ambiance was excellent, though noisy, but the food was very good!
Juan's Flying Burrito
This place was a cool dive. The food wasn't THAT great, but it was cheap and the people were cool.
Another fantastic place Ken and I had the pleasure of enjoying was VooDoo BBQ and Grill. 
The food was SOOO GOOD! They have fantastic side items like Gris Gris greens, (Click here to find out what Gris Gris means) potato salad that tastes like a loaded baked potato, according to Ken, and corn pudding, not to mention the macaroni and cheese (YUM!) and ribs and sausage that was to DIE FOR! Ken and I must have gainied 20 pounds from those meals!!!
