New York Dining - Yaffa Cafe

I spent the New Year's weekend in New York visitng my friend Corey Craig. Corey lives in Manhattan, and dj's on the side at Brite and Vlada. I had a fantastic weekend, and was able to see some of the city and enjoy some great food. I met with a friend, Raym, who took me down to the Lower East Side, where we had lunch at Yaffa Cafe. They serve this very interesting carrot salad dressing, which was amazing! Yaffa is supposedly known for vegan/vegetarian/healthy food, with a dash of goth. Goth? Hmm...jury's still out, but the food was fantastic!
Raym had a very nice spicy chicken sandwich, and I enjoyed a nice dijon chicken dish with mushrooms and artichokes. The food was very good and reasonably priced.
