From the looks of things, you'd think I haven't been eating out. Truth is...I HAVE!
Giada De Laurentiis was on tv Monday night (her show, Giada's Weekend Getaways). She was in Washington, DC (..and no one told me!) for a weekend of fun and food!
Giada hit some tourist places during her weekend visit, and found some great dining venues that are right under my nose!
For Food:
Citronelle
Chocolate Decadence @ The Ritz Carlton
The Dancing Crab
Cafe Atlantico
Zola (Finally went here with my friend Jim and the food was fantastic! They also have excellent cocktails, and the views from the cocktail bar are great too! You can also get to Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum, which is close by! Go say hi to Whoopi!)
Dupont Circle Market
For fun:
The White House
The Capitol building
Washington Monument
Jefferson Memorial
Lincoln Memorial
City Segway Tours of Washington DC
International Spy Museum
You can catch Giada on the Food Network's website
NOTE: Chocolate Decadence
Every Friday from February 2nd - April 27th 7 - 10pm
Indulge in a sinful gourmet chocolate buffet! Chocolate Decadence, a chocoholic's dream come true, is presented every Friday in our Lobby Lounge. For a mouth-watering taste of the decadence in store, imagine cooking stations for individual chocolate-raspberry tarts, milk chocolate-banana-passion fruit macaroons, chocolate napoleons, chocolate éclairs, triple chocolate cakes, opera cakes, Black Forest cakes, and chocolate waffles served with a rum ice cream. And that’s just for starters.
